How we handle information you send us.

1. Information you may provide

Through the Contact form you may provide your name, email address and message. Through the Universal Brief you may provide contact details and information about your business, website, project, requirements, content, systems, timing, budget and other details you choose to enter.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or other sensitive information that is not needed for an initial project enquiry.

2. Why we use this information

We use the information you provide to review and respond to your enquiry, understand the work you are asking about, clarify requirements, prepare a scope or proposal, communicate about a possible or active project, and keep reasonable business records related to that enquiry or project.

3. How the Contact form and Universal Brief work

When you press Send Message on the Contact form, the name, email address and message you entered are submitted directly through the website's form service so that we can receive and respond to your enquiry. The form does not require you to open or send a separate email.

The Universal Brief saves your written answers in your browser's local storage while you complete it so your progress is not lost. Nothing is submitted until you press Send the Brief. At that point, the information you entered and any visual-reference files you selected for submission are sent through the website's form service for review by Interactive Website Studio.

4. Retention

We keep enquiry and project information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was provided and for related business, administrative, legal or accounting records. Enquiries that do not become projects are reviewed for deletion or anonymisation when they are no longer needed. Project records may need to be kept longer where there is an ongoing relationship or a legal or record-keeping reason to retain them.

Draft answers stored by the Universal Brief remain in the browser you used until that browser storage is cleared.

5. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be handled by service providers that are necessary for the website, email, hosting, technical operation or project delivery, and only to the extent needed for those services. Providers may process technical or account data under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, or where reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, security or the integrity of the service.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to ask for access to personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing, or a copy of information you provided. Where processing is based on consent, you may also be able to withdraw that consent. You may also have the right to complain to the relevant data-protection authority.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website, forms, service providers or data-handling practices change. The version shown on this page is the version currently published on the website.
